Answering

Every call picked up on the first ring

No hold music, no phone tree, no voicemail. Day, night, weekends, and through the lunch rush.

01

Answers 24/7 in a natural voice

A warm, human-sounding assistant greets every caller with your own message. No menus, no “press 1”.After Hours, Frontdesk, Group
02

Answers from your content, not the internet

It searches a private knowledge base built from your website and only answers from what you've approved. If it doesn't know, it says so and takes a message. It never invents details.Frontdesk, Group
03

Captures appointment requests

Name, callback number, service, and preferred time, confirmed on the call and texted to your team instantly. You keep control of the schedule, no calendar integration required. After Hours, Frontdesk, Group
04

Takes prescription refill requests

For medical practices: patient, date of birth, medication, and pharmacy captured into a structured refill queue. It never gives dosing advice or promises approval. After Hours, Frontdesk, Group
05

Transfers to a person when it matters

During business hours, a caller who insists on a human is connected to your line.Frontdesk, Group
06

Recognizes callers you already know

Upload your customer list and inbound calls are matched by phone number, so the assistant stops asking for details you already have.Frontdesk, Group

After hours

On-call triage, not just an answering machine

The part most AI receptionists skip. Built for medical practices, and it's what a real answering service is actually for.

01

911 deflection first

Every after-hours clinical call opens with an emergency reminder before anything else happens. After Hours, Frontdesk, Group
02

The caller decides urgency, never the AI

It asks whether the matter is urgent or routine and routes accordingly. It does not perform nurse triage, assess symptoms, or give medical advice. After Hours, Frontdesk, Group
03

Escalation that actually reaches someone

Urgent calls dial your on-call provider and wait for them to accept. No answer cascades to the next provider in the rotation, then texts the whole team as a fail-safe.After Hours, Frontdesk, Group
04

Rotations with holiday overrides

Single provider, weekly rotation, or day-of-week schedule, plus date overrides for holidays and coverage swaps, which always win.Rotations: Group
05

A timestamped audit trail

Every attempt is recorded: who was called, when, and the outcome, so you can show exactly how an after-hours call was handled. After Hours, Frontdesk, Group
06

Provider-to-patient talk time

Connected call duration is captured, which your biller can use for time-based telephone E/M coding.

The app

The doctor's after-hours line, in your pocket

Lydoh for iPhone and Android. The dashboard in your pocket, plus the two things only a phone can do: wake the right person, and call back without giving out a personal number.

01

A push when a patient asks for you

After hours, when a caller asks to speak with the doctor and it is not urgent, Lydoh takes the details and sends them straight to your phone. Open it and read the brief before you decide what to do.
02

Call back from the practice number

Tap Call back. Lydoh rings your phone first, then connects you to the patient with the practice number as the caller ID. Your mobile number is never shown and never given out.
03

Close it with a note

When the follow-up is done, write down what happened and close the request. Everyone on the team sees who handled it, when, and what they said.
04

Choose what wakes you

A switch for each kind of alert: a patient asked for the doctor, a new request, a refill, or a call that captured nothing. Set quiet hours for the rest. Urgent on-call escalations always get through.
05

Everything the dashboard does

Calls with transcripts and recordings, requests, your knowledge base, contacts, the on-call schedule, settings, usage, and support. Nothing is app-only except the notifications. Texting patients is in the web dashboard for now.
06

Locked behind Face ID

Turn on the app lock and messages and transcripts stay behind Face ID or your fingerprint, even when the phone itself is unlocked.

Records

Every call, written down and searchable

Not just a notification: the full record, in your dashboard and pushed anywhere you want it.

01

Recordings and transcripts

Each call is transcribed with an AI summary, plus a recording link. Timestamped turn-by-turn, not one flat block of text.
02

A disposition on every call

Each call is marked resolved, needs follow-up, or unresolved, so you can filter what a human still has to deal with instead of reading every summary.
03

Structured requests, not messages

Appointments, refills, and callbacks arrive as fields you can act on, with urgency and after-hours flags.
04

Call-recording disclosure built in

An announcement is spoken at the start of every call by default, with wording you control. Several states require every party to be told.
05

Why they called, in one line

Each call in the log carries a plain-English reason, so you can scan the day without opening every transcript.

Between calls

Fewer no-shows, fewer lost callers

What happens after the phone goes quiet: reminders the day before, a text back to callers who hung up, and an answer in the caller's own language.

01

Appointment reminder texts

Paste tomorrow's schedule from your EHR, Square or calendar, any layout, or upload a CSV. Lydoh reads it into a list you check, then texts each patient the day before, between 8 AM and 8 PM. No EHR integration needed.Every plan
02

Replies that do something

Patients reply C to confirm or R to reschedule. A confirmation is marked on the list; a reschedule, or any other reply, lands in your requests and alerts the office.
03

Your wording, your tokens

Write the reminder the way your practice talks, with tokens for the patient's name, the day, the time and the provider. The opt-out line is always added for you.
04

Text back callers who hang up

When a patient hangs up before leaving anything, Lydoh waits two minutes, then texts their mobile that your front desk will call back, and adds the callback to your requests. Pharmacies, reps and spam are never texted.Every plan
05

Spanish, Arabic and Bengali

Turn on a language and Lydoh answers each caller in the language they speak, switching if they do. Every request still reaches your team in English, marked with the caller's language.
06

A dashboard that keeps up

New requests appear on their own, with a chime and a desktop alert if you want them. Handled requests move to their own list, and each one shows which front-desk computer closed it.

Texting patients

Confirm it by text, not another phone call

Two-way texting from the front desk dashboard, in one thread per patient. Off until the practice turns it on and gives the business details US carriers require.

01

Confirm when you close a request

Pick what happened: appointment booked (with the date and time), refill sent to pharmacy, got it, or write your own. Staff see the exact text before it sends.Every plan
02

A receipt after the call

When Lydoh takes a request on a call, it can text the caller that it landed and when the office will follow up, so they don't call back to check.
03

One thread per patient

Confirmations, receipts, reminders, callback texts, review requests and the patient's replies, together in a Messages tab and on the request itself.Every plan
04

Reply alerts with nothing private

When a patient replies, the front desk is told to open Messages. The alert never includes what the patient wrote.
05

Text anyone who called

A Text button on every inbound call. New messages go only to numbers that already called, texted, left a request or are in your contacts. No bulk sends.Every plan
06

Lock-screen-safe wording

Every text opens with the practice name and ends “Reply STOP to opt out.” It never names a medication, test, symptom or visit reason.

Integrations

Push it into whatever you already use

A real API and signed webhooks, not a screenshot of a dashboard.

01

Signed webhooks

call.started, call.ended, request.created, and escalation.started delivered to your endpoint, HMAC-signed so you can verify authenticity.Group
02

At-least-once delivery

A failed delivery retries with backoff for ~24 hours, and the event id is stable across attempts so you can dedupe. Nothing is silently dropped.Group
03

REST API

Pull calls, transcripts, recordings, and dispositions; manage your knowledge base and contact directory. Authenticated by API key, no dashboard session required.
04

Works with Zapier and Make

Both accept webhooks directly, so you can wire Lydoh into a CRM or ticketing system without writing code.Group

Control

Yours to configure, live

Every setting applies to the very next call. Nothing to redeploy, no support ticket.

01

Your greeting, your hours

Separate open and after-hours greetings, business hours per day, and your own timezone.
02

Appointments or support tickets

Non-booking businesses can switch the assistant to capture requests instead. It then never offers to schedule anything, and you choose what it calls them.
03

Instant SMS to your team

A text the moment a request comes in, so nobody has to watch a dashboard.
04

Set up in under 10 minutes

Sign up, answer a few questions, get a number. Forward your existing line or publish the new one.

FAQ

Questions about what it does.

Does Lydoh book appointments directly into my calendar?

No, by design. It captures a complete appointment request: name, callback number, service, and preferred time, and texts your front desk to confirm and enter it. That means no calendar integration, no software change, and no risk of the AI double-booking your schedule.

Does the assistant give medical advice?

Never. It answers only from content you've approved, keeps conversations to scheduling and general information, deflects emergencies to 911, and lets the caller decide whether something is urgent. All clinical judgment stays with your team.

Which features are medical-only?

Prescription refill capture, emergency deflection (911, or the nearest emergency animal hospital for veterinary clinics), and after-hours on-call triage with provider escalation are for medical practices, med spas and veterinary clinics. Other businesses get everything else their plan includes: answering, knowledge, requests, recordings, webhooks on Group, and the API.

Which plan includes which features?

It depends on the plan, and each feature above is marked with the plans that carry it. Text ($49/mo) is texting only: missed-call text back, two-way patient texting, reminders and review requests, with no AI voice. After Hours ($99/mo) adds AI answering and on-call escalation. Frontdesk ($249/mo) adds knowledge-base answers, transfers and caller recognition. Group adds on-call rotations and webhooks. Each voice plan is sized to a typical practice, and every plan has a 14-day free trial.

Is there an app?

Yes, for iPhone and Android, included on every plan. It does everything the dashboard does except texting patients, which is web-only for now, and it is where after-hours requests for the doctor arrive as push notifications. From there you can call the patient back from the practice number, so your own stays private, and close the request with a note for the morning team.
