This policy says what Lydoh may be used for, and what it may never be used for. It is part of the Terms of Service, and it applies to every call made or answered through the service.
Last updated September 19, 2026
This policy applies to every Lydoh workspace and everyone who uses one: the account owner, anyone they invite, and anyone acting on their instructions. It applies to business lines, where the assistant answers calls for a company, and to personal lines, where the assistant answers your own number and places calls for you. If you break this policy, it is your account that answers for it.
You may only have Lydoh contact a phone number you have a legitimate reason to contact. A legitimate reason means a real, existing relationship or errand: a business you are a customer of, an office you have an appointment with, a shop you want to buy from, a person who expects to hear from you. You must have the right to make the call yourself, and everything you ask the assistant to do must be lawful where you are and where the person you are calling is.
You may not use the service for any of the following:
You also may not resell the service, share your line with people outside your workspace, or attempt to overload, reverse-engineer, or work around the limits described below.
On a personal line you can give Lydoh a task and it will place the call for you. It opens every call by saying who it is and who it is calling for, and it says it is a digital assistant whenever it is asked. It never pays for anything and never reads out card or bank details. It never answers identity-verification questions or acts on your accounts. It never makes emergency, urgent, or safety-critical calls, and it is not a substitute for calling 911 or a crisis line yourself.
Whatever a task says, the assistant will not:
The operating limits on those calls are:
You are responsible for the tasks you give the assistant: who it calls, what it asks for, and what it agrees to within the limits you set. The assistant can mishear, and a business can get a booking wrong. We do not guarantee the outcome of any call, so confirm anything that matters, directly with the business, before you rely on it.
Calls to and from your Lydoh number may be recorded and transcribed so that you can read and listen to them afterwards. Recording laws differ from state to state, and some states require every party to a call to consent. You are responsible for deciding what disclosure your calls require and for turning on the recording-disclosure setting in your workspace where it is needed. We give you the setting and the wording. We do not give legal advice on it.
The facts, notes, greetings, and knowledge-base content you give the assistant are yours to control, and you are responsible for what is in them. Do not store another person's sensitive information, such as their health, financial, or identity details, without their consent. Do not store credentials of any kind: passwords, PINs, security answers, card numbers, or account numbers you would not want read aloud. The assistant can repeat what you have given it on a call, so give it only what you are content for it to say.
Plans are sold for ordinary personal or business use by one workspace. On the personal plan the assistant places up to 20 tasks a month, calls only Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM in your timezone, and tries a number up to 3 times per task. These limits exist so the service stays a personal assistant rather than a dialer, and we may adjust them if a workspace uses the service in a way the plan was not sold for.
We may pause or rate-limit a workspace that generates complaints, carrier blocks, spam reports, or any pattern of use this policy prohibits, and we may do it before contacting you if the activity is ongoing.
Where we can, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. For serious or repeated breaches we may suspend the workspace, disconnect the number, or terminate the account without notice. Refunds on termination follow the Terms of Service: fees are not refundable except where the law requires it.
If you received a call from Lydoh that you believe breaks this policy, or you want us to stop calling a number, email hello@lydoh.com with the number that was called and the date and time. We investigate every report, and we act on the account behind the call.
