Lydoh is the AI phone assistant for medical practices, med spas, and salons, built by VoiceboxMD, a company focused on voice AI for healthcare. We build for the front desk that's busiest exactly when the phone rings most, and for the 9pm caller who deserves better than voicemail.

Why Lydoh exists

The phone is still how patients arrive.

Most missed calls never call back; they book with whoever answers. And the calls that matter most, the anxious after-hours ones, are the calls practices are least equipped to take. Traditional answering services solved this with per-minute operators reading scripts. We think the better answer is software that picks up instantly, knows your practice, captures the request completely, and escalates urgent matters to a real provider, with a record of every step.

How we build

Principles we don't trade away.

Never a diagnosis

Lydoh answers scheduling and information questions only. It never gives medical advice, never assesses symptoms, and routes anything clinical to your team.

Emergencies go to 911

Every after-hours clinical call opens with an emergency reminder before anything else. Safety rails are not a setting; they're the default.

The caller decides urgency

After hours, patients self-select urgent or routine. Lydoh routes; licensed people judge.

Everything is auditable

Calls, requests, and every escalation attempt are timestamped and visible in your dashboard, down to who was reached at 11:42pm and for how long.

Your content, not the internet's

Lydoh answers only from the knowledge base you approve. If it doesn't know, it says so and takes a message.

Minimal data by design

A name, a callback number, a reason. Lydoh collects what routing requires and leaves clinical detail to the conversation between patient and provider.
